MERRY CHRISTMAS

Merry Christmas everyone!

Here is a card I made for my Mother-in law.  I know she will love this card as she is a very crafty lady herself.  She has dabbled in a bit of painting, drawing and her all time favourite cross stitch.  I hope you like this project as much as I will enjoy giving it to her.

I started with some green card stock and made an easel card.  (I find these are the quickest way to achieve a great looking card).  Next using the Kaiser December 25th paper pack, I started layering my papers up the card.  I used the Martha Stewart daisy doily punch and inked around the edges using Tim Holtz vintage distress ink.

I used the Nellie Snellen multi frames to cut out the frame for the middle of the card and inked around the edges.  Next I stamped and embossed the flowers and the Peace sign.

This Father Christmas and sleeping child scene was in the middle of one of the sheets of 12x12 papers from the collection.  I cut around and inked the edges and then used pop dots to pop up the scene. I added a gold ribbon and of course a little holly for some Christmas cheer!

Thanks for stopping by

Celeste
